Tech & Science Daily: Titanic to be studied for possible new marine ecosystem

T

he first-ever mission of its kind to study the marine ecosystem of the Titanic wreck site has been announced.

The Titanic serves as a refuge for life forms like corals, squat lobsters, brittle stars, and rattail fish.  But could the wreck itself use its own materials to help form new life?

We spoke to Dr Steve Ross, the Chief Scientist of the 2022 Titanic Survey Expedition.

Elon Musk’s startup Neuralink is preparing for the first-ever human trials of its brain-computer interface technology.

Early human trials are due to take place in 2022 and are likely to involve people with paralysis using the interface to gain direct neural control of a computer cursor.
