Why: For its latest collab, Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière turned to Italian design legend Piero Fornasetti and the brand’s archive of over 13,000 pieces. Fornasetti’s surrealism and now-iconic ancient statue prints take on a new life with Ghesquière’s contemporary eye for design and silhouette. Jacquard tops and shift dresses are adorned in Fornasetti prints and handbags are reimagined with laser-printed metallic leather, simultaneously tricking the eye and enchanting the wearer.

Lauren gave the classic riding boot a contemporary edge, shortening its shaft height to make it a more wearable bootie. The sensible yet stylish block heel and almond-shaped toe render it a must-have for the fall season.
